The Brotherhood

Let's catch up for a second everyone.
I've been busy with many things lately, but last week the majority of my evenings were spent rushing
the Epsilon Iota Chapter of Phi Sigma Pi Honor Fraternity.

Rush was Hunger Games themed and we did fun outdoorsy-related activities.
There was also lots of mingling going on so that we could get to know the brothers.
(PSP is a coed fraternity, but everyone is considered a brother)

After three days, we had an interview night.
Then it was waiting time.
For three days, I wondered if I had made it in, hoping that my rush week had led up to a victory.

When Sunday night hit, I was begging to know if I had gotten in or not.
And later that night with a few friend requests (more like 20) and a knock on my door,
I knew that I had made it.
And boy was I excited!!!

Eighteen other initiates and I are officially the Xi class of Phi Sigma Pi Epsilon Iota.

Later on in the week, I received a gift from my big,
but instead of waiting to find out who my big was, I did a little snooping.

(I'm like a little kid who looks for their Christmas presents before Christmas . . .)

So I thought I had my big picked out,
and then there was more waiting.

Well, tonight, the wait finally ended.
We had our pinning ceremony and it was black and white formal clothing only.

COME ON GUYS! WE HAD TO TIE IN FASHION! ;)

So here are pictures of what I wore tonight minus the red lipstick.

(Btw, these are pictures from the very first photo shoot Allison and I did together!)

These red doors were the perfect background! They're actually church doors.

No wind machine, just perfect timing.

This is by far one of my favorite pictures Allison has ever taken of me.
Anyways, I also got to officially meet my big . . . Julia Ann Baker is her name!
And she's fantastic . . . be prepared for a blog post about her in the near future.

Tonight was great and I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful group of people.
And I can't wait till I'm an official brother!
